Hey everyone,

Happy Friday, today we’re talking about Amazon’s new AI tools to accelerate AI development, more details emerge about OpenAI’s ambitious goal to build the “iPhone of AI“ with Jony Ive, and Spotify’s plan to add auto-generated transcripts to millions of podcasts.

Let's do this.

⭐ FEATURED

AWS Announces Amazon Bedrock GA And 5 New Offerings To Accelerate Generative AI Innovation. Amazon Bedrock is now generally available, streamlining generative AI application development with access to top AI company LLMs via a single API. Also unveiled were Amazon Titan, pre-trained models by AWS, the upcoming addition of Meta's Llama 2, a new customization feature in Amazon CodeWhisperer for enhanced AI coding, and generative BI authoring capabilities in Amazon QuickSight.

Details Emerge On Jony Ive And OpenAI’s Plan To Build The ‘iPhone Of AI’. Apple’s former chief design officer, Jony Ive, is reportedly in discussions with OpenAI to build the “iPhone of AI,” aided by over $1 billion in funding from Softbank CEO Masayoshi Son. Ive and Altman are aiming to create a device that provides a “more natural and intuitive user experience” to interact with AI.

Spotify Is Adding Auto-Generated Transcripts to Millions Of Podcasts. Spotify is boosting its accessibility with auto-generated podcast transcripts, powered by OpenAI's Whisper technology, rolling out to millions of podcasts soon. This feature offers time-synced text transcripts for easy episode navigation. This follows the recent announcement of an AI-driven voice cloning tool for multilingual podcast translations.
