• MrBeast Calls Out TikTok for Allowing Deepfake Advertisement Of Him to Run Wild 'This is a Serious Problem'. TikTok featured an ad with an AI-generated deepfake of MrBeast, promising iPhone 15s for $2 in a 10,000-phone giveaway. Despite the official-looking MrBeast logo and a verified checkmark, it was a scam. "Lots of people are getting this deepfake scam ad of me… are social media platforms ready to handle the rise of AI deepfakes? This is a serious problem." MrBeast wrote on X.

• Linkedin Goes Big On New AI Tools For Learning, Recruitment, Marketing, And Sales. LinkedIn's "Recruiter 2024" uses AI for improved candidate searches, LinkedIn Learning introduces an AI "learning coach" chatbot for course advice to candidates, and advertising receives an AI upgrade with the introduction of "Accelerate" for streamlined campaigns.

• Zoom Launches AI-Powered Zoom Docs To Boost Collaboration. Zoom introduced "Zoom Docs," a modular workspace integrated with Zoom AI Companion for content creation and sourcing. The AI can summarize meetings, chats, and info within Zoom Docs and create tables. The platform allows interdocument linking, folder organization, and management via meetings, Team Chat, browsers, or Zoom's apps.
